Although we have only just entered the new season of Autumn, otherwise known as Fall, I already adore the recent trend that features the beautiful intensity of the deep burnt and alloy tones of orange. As I was exploring for new inspiration for my post I noticed that ELLE claims that actually the Spring 2014 collection involves a larger quantity of the gorgeous fiery complexions that canvas's the stylish, warm and comfortable garments. I honestly find this colour so appealing and it's remarkable that it has been predicted to re-appear next year on to the runway. Not only is the colour simply grand, it also has the potential to make your outfit look trendier bringing the attention to your figure naturally.
During NYFW we witnessed the release of Rag & Bone's newest high-impact orange lipstick which took the elite artists and designers by surprise. As the feedback to the bold, statement lip, within a catwalk that was promoting upcoming seasons wear in New York, was so varied and diverse in the sense of thinking that replacing black for orange would be an easy and simple transition may have hopefully impacted the general public in the most positive way possible. I think that they may have got the message that actually maybe it is acceptable to experiment and play with your make up and taste in fashion because it's normal and it's good to be unique and creative if that is who you are. You shouldn't feel limited to simply wear black no matter what body shape you have. I mean just look at the beauty that is embraced by the ladies below.
The massive changes that occur over time within the fashion seasons (from the change in weather seasons to the progress over the decades) should inspire you to open up your eyes and notice how significant the transformations within the two industries really are. You should appreciate the distinctive and daring styles, shapes and shades that emerge onto the catwalks because some cultures around the world don't get the opportunity to explore this vast industry like ourselves.
The gorgeous alloy and burnt tones of orange really blew me away because it was something different to what I would usually go for and I just love it. It's simple but I think anyone can pull it off so you should definitely try something that is unusual and something a little different to normality. And after all, isn't orange supposed to resemble happiness and joy, maybe you will feel confident and sophisticated in a new mature colour. You could try anything from a blazer to some trousers or even a dress for the warmer days, whatever suits you best. I love experimenting with new cuts of garments, it gives me a thrill when it actually looks nice on me. Anything that makes you feel positive about yourself is a big bonus so anything is worth a try. Statement pieces that involve brighter colours always come in useful to so don't be afraid of it being a waste of money because it wont be!
Have you got any favourite new pieces in a gorgeous orange tone? Or do you have a different look for this season that is your favourite - what can you see the potential in? I'd love to know all about it!
